Itinerary
Transfer to Antananarivo. Overnight in the Hotel Restaurant La Ribaudière Antananarivo, 4 star Hotel.
You will be picked up so early from your hotel because the only flight to Nosy Be leaves at 6:30 am.
At the airport you will be picked up by a Spanish tour guide and transferred to the hotel.
Your breakfast will be waiting for you at the hotel and after that you can relax on the beach.
Overnight in Villas Orchidées Nosy Be, 4-star Hotel.
You will just relax on the beach. You will also have the opportunity to walk to the center of Nosy Be to get to learn more about the island. There you can observe how people spend their day on the streets or at the market. Overnight in Villas Orchidées Nosy Be, 4-star Hotel.
After breakfast you will start an excursion to a nature reserve island Tanikely by boat. If you have diving glasses, then prepare to take them with you. There you will have the opportunity to dive under the water to see the fish and the sea turtle and other inhabitants of the sea. Another possibility is that you can also swim there and relax on the beach. The trip by boat takes about 1 hour.
We will prepare a free lunch for you there. Later in the afternoon you will return to Nosy Be.

After breakfast you will discover a special island of Madagascar named Nosy Iranja. You will go there by boat and the trip will take around 1:30 hours. There you will discover an open way between the sea to a small island near Nosy Iranja. You can also visit the place. Additionally there is the possibility to have a look at a beautiful panorama. You can also swim there and spend your time on the beach. We will prepare lunch for you for free. Later in the afternoon you will return to Nosy Be. Overnight in Villas Orchidées Nosy Be 4,star Hotel.
The journey is over. You still have half a day to visit Nosy Be because the plane to Antananarivo leaves at 15:40 h. This means that you will be accompanied to the airport in the afternoon. You will arrive in Antananarivo at 17:15h and fly home

Other Information
A visa is required to travel to the country as a tourist from Canada and the United States. It can be obtained prior to travelling or on arrival in Madagascar and is valid for 90 days. A valid passport for travel is mandatory. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date you enter Madagascar.

If you are visiting Madagascar for less than 15 days, there is no visa requirement. However, travellers must pay a 10 Euro administrative fee on arrival. You can buy a 30 or 60 day single entry tourist visa on arrival at the airport in cash using US$, Euros, or Malagasy Ariary.
The best time to visit the country is from April to mid-December, avoiding the wet season.
Families with children under ten may struggle with the overall conditions of travelling within the country. Active families with teen age children and an adventurous spirit will have an amazing time exploring Madagascar.
There are no compulsory vaccinations required for Madagascar, however, we recommend you consult with your local travel clinic for the most up-to-date recommendations, particularly in regard to malaria prophylactics. Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required if you are coming from or have transited through an airport of a country where yellow fever occurs.
