Itinerary
Your arrival will be a warm welcome by our company representative then taken for refreshments and depending on the time of arrival, you will check-in at your hotel and then acclimatize. There is an option of going for a city tour or staying behind to relax while recovering from jet lag. Briefing about your safari is also done today and final payments if any. Early breakfast, then starts the 6 to 8 hours journey including some interesting stops. Looking at the Big Five, we shall be introduced to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a natural habitat for Rhinos in Uganda. The 2 -3 hour tracking of these special endangered Rhinos not found elsewhere in Uganda Parks is so rewarding and captivating. Time allowing continue to Masindi for lunch or even enjoy it at the Rhino Fund Restaurant. Proceed to Murchison falls National park, and head straight to the Top of the Falls. View the spectacular falls where the Nile perfects its beautiful falls creating a thunderous roar, breathtaking views, and good spots for memorable photos. Early morning Teas and coffees preferred, embark on the early morning game drive in hope of seeing some of the big five including lions, buffaloes, and elephants. Giraffes may be sighted, small antelopes like Olibi, impalas, and primates like baboons and monkeys. Return for late breakfast if not taken before, then relax till lunch enjoying the lodge views/scenery and comparing notes. In the afternoon after lunch, we have a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, here we may be lucky to find some of the animals that come to drink water and cool off, Hippo schools, Crocodiles, Birds, and lizards plus other marines may be sighted. There is an option of boarding off at the bottom of the falls and Hiking to the top of the falls (Extra fee activity), this can be a challenging but very much rewarding walk as it brings you face to face with the world’s most powerful waterfall, your driver will be waiting for you at the top of the falls to transport you back to the lodge in case you opt for this walk. Early breakfast, check out, and then head to Budongo Forest for Chimpanzee Trekking. This exposes you to about a 3-4 hours expedition into tracking the Chimpanzees – our closest relatives of the jungle. Continue to lunch en-route as you head back to Kampala. Overnight at Mystil Hotel-
The airport transfer today will be given to you by our friendly drivers at the time of your flight. If the airport transfer is late, then we shall also offer a city tour around Kampala’s famous and historical sites then drop you off at the airport in time for your flight and see you off.

Other Information
A visa is required when travelling to Uganda from the United States and Canada. Currently, you must apply for it online prior to travel as you will be asked for a barcoded email upon arrival. A valid passport is mandatory and must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of expected departure from Uganda.
The best time to visit Uganda is between June and September as this is the dry season. However, temperatures are warm year-round due to its proximity to the equator.
Family visitors can view wildlife on a safari or trekking experience, enjoy a boat cruise, or complete a cultural visit. There is truly something for everyone in the family in Uganda. Adventurous travel awaits people of all ages, although you should be aware that trekking requires a certain level of physical fitness.
A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate or waiver is required for all travellers one year of age and older. The vaccination requirement is imposed by this country for protection against Yellow Fever since the principal mosquito vector Aedes aegypti is present in its territory. There are no other compulsory vaccinations required for Uganda, however, we recommend you consult with your local travel clinic for the most up-to-date recommendations, particularly in regard to malaria prophylactics.
