Your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport marks the beginning of your 11 days Tanzania Zanzibar Safari. Oreteti Safari Africa guide will meet and greet you and after briefing he will take to Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa. Depending on your time of arrival you will have some time to visit some places in Arusha like the art gallery, Maasai Markert and other little attractions around the city, before you return to your hotel and indulge yourself to the swimming pool.
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephants, as well as its diverse wildlife, which includes lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.
You will spend the day exploring Tarangire National Park on a game drive. Your guide will take you to the best spots to see wildlife and answer any questions you have. Tarangire is also one of the best bird-watching destinations in Tanzania. There are over 550 species of birds in the park, including flamingoes, ostriches, and pelicans. In the afternoon, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast at your lodge in Tarangire National Park, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is known for its diverse landscapes, including a lake, forest, and escarpment. The dry season is the best time for Safari In Tanzania, which lasts from late December to February, and from Mid June through October. These are considered the best months for Tanzania wildlife safaris, the Great wildebeest Migration, Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing, and Zanzibar beach tours.
We recommend wearing clothes that are comfortable and made of natural, breathable fabrics. Plan to layer up or down as the weather changes. Try your best to avoid black, navy blue, and other dark colours as they tend to attract insects.
Tanzania Safaris looks expensive compared to other countries like Kenya and it is mainly due to park fees and Permits. Visiting the most renowned national parks in Tanzania like Serengeti and Ngorongoro you will incur extra charges which you won’t be charged in any Kenya Safari destination. Spending a single night in Serengeti comes with a $71 concession fee charge, while a single visit to Ngorongoro crater will cost you an extra $295 per car per day.

Yes, visitors from most of the countries require visa to enter Zanzibar (and Tanzania in general), and the passport should be valid for six months onwards. Single entry tourist visa can be applied for at Tanzanian embassies, online, Tanzanian High Commissions and at the Tanzanian borders (airports and in some cases when crossing the border by land).
