Once we are in mainland Europe, we make our way directly towards Switzerland. We will be crossing through France, Belgium and possibly Luxembourg whilst we make our way towards Switzerland.
We will be covering quite a distance tonight and be driving throughout the night. We highly recommend you carry any essentials you require with you in person including a small wash bag with key toiletries.
In the morning, after a refreshing stop to freshen up at services following your overnight drive, you will have the option to enjoy a hearty breakfast at your leisure from the available services.
Your journey takes you through the enchanting Black Forest region of Germany, a scenic route leading you to Schaffhausen, a charming city nestled alongside the majestic river Rhine. Here, prepare to be captivated by the awe-inspiring grandeur of the Rhine Falls, the largest open-plain waterfalls in all of Europe. Get up close and personal with this natural wonder, and feel the exhilarating spray of the cascading waters as you explore its breathtaking beauty. While standing at the river’s edge, take in the commanding presence of the magnificent Wörth Castle, overlooking the thundering falls.
As you continue your drive into Central Switzerland, you will find yourself immersed in a landscape that seems plucked from the pages of a fairy tale. Rolling meadows adorned with wildflowers, crystal-clear lakes mirroring the towering peaks, and charming villages with their storybook architecture will unfold before your eyes. The crisp mountain air, the soothing sound of babbling brooks, and the views of rugged mountain ranges will accompany you on this scenic journey, leaving you with an indelible sense of wonder.
We have our Indian meal either at the restaurant or the hotel before we settle in for our two nights at the hotel.
After breakfast, we set off for Mt. Titlis, where we ascend 10,000 feet to its summit. Our journey begins with a small cable car or funicular ride, depending on the season, followed by a remarkable experience aboard the world’s first revolving cable car, the Titlis Rotair. As the Rotair makes a full revolution during our ascent, we’re treated to a mesmerizing 360-degree view of the Uri Alps.
Upon reaching the summit, prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking panoramic views of the Swiss landscapes. Take your time to snap photos in traditional Swiss attire, shop for souvenirs, and venture onto the highest Cliff Walk, a suspended pedestrian bridge positioned 3,000 meters above sea level. This bridge is believed to be the highest elevation suspension bridge in Europe (subject to operation). Spend your morning exploring the snow-covered wonderland and visit the ice caves.
For those seeking an extra thrill, there’s the optional Ice Flyer (subject to operation). This chairlift glides smoothly and safely over pristine snowfields and deep crevasses, some as deep as twenty meters. While you’re up on Mt. Titlis, don’t forget to smile for the camera – you can purchase the perfect souvenir photo from the on-site studio.
In the early afternoon, we descend and board our coach for the journey to the enchanting city of Lucerne. Here, you will be treated to breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne, surrounded by the Swiss Alps, including the majestic peaks of Mt. Pilatus and Mt. Rigi. Explore the charming cobblestone streets of the Old Town and enjoy some souvenir shopping. Be sure not to miss the opportunity to visit the iconic Chapel Bridge, also known as Kapellbrücke, a 204-meter-long wooden bridge dating back to 1333 and considered the oldest covered bridge in Europe. Additionally, pay your respects at the Lion Monument, an impressive rock relief designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen, honouring the Swiss Guards who sacrificed their lives during the French Revolution.
Our next destination is the historic city of Bern, Switzerland’s capital. Upon arrival, we embark on a guided tour of the charming old town, where you’ll have the chance to explore iconic landmarks such as the Zytglogge clock tower, the parliament square, and the Bear Pit in Bären Park. The city’s well-preserved medieval architecture, set against a backdrop of stunning natural surroundings, will leave a lasting impression of Swiss beauty and heritage.
Our journey continues to Interlaken, a picturesque resort town nestled between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. Take a leisurely stroll through the scenic Kursaal Garden, known for its beautiful landscapes and views. Within the park, you will also find a statue honouring the late Yash Chopra, a renowned Indian filmmaker celebrated for his contributions to the Indian film industry. This statue serves as a tribute to his life and work and is a popular tourist attraction in Interlaken.
After an enjoyable Indian meal at a local restaurant, we make our way to the hotel for our overnight stay.
After a delightful breakfast, we embark on a picturesque journey to Zweisimmen, where we eagerly hop aboard the enchanting Golden Pass Panoramic Train bound for the charming town of Gstaad. As we traverse through the postcard-perfect Swiss countryside, our senses are treated to lush green meadows, quaint wooden chalets, and the awe-inspiring backdrop of the towering Alps.
Upon arriving in Gstaad, we continue our adventure to Glacier 3000, a place that promises a unique and exhilarating experience. Here, we have the privilege of traversing the extraordinary Peak Walk by Tissot, a marvel of modern engineering in the Swiss Alps. This remarkable suspension bridge spans between two majestic peaks – Scex Rouge and the Oldenegg – offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including iconic peaks like the Matterhorn, Mont-Blanc, and Jungfrau. To reach an elevation of 3000 meters, we swiftly ascend via a panoramic cable car in just 15 minutes. Once on the glacier, an array of thrilling activities awaits, from the Ice Express Chairlift to the Snow Fun Park and more, providing an unforgettable experience in this stunning natural setting.

Montreux is famed for its picturesque beauty, serene lakeside setting, and vibrant cultural scene. Explore its charming streets, take in the stunning views, and immerse yourself in the town’s unique atmosphere.
Finally, we make our way to Geneva, a city that effortlessly combines history, culture, and international diplomacy.
