Other Information
The dry season is the best time for Safari In Tanzania, which lasts from late December to February, and from Mid June through October. These are considered the best months for Tanzania wildlife safaris, the Great wildebeest Migration, Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing, and Zanzibar beach tours.
We recommend wearing clothes that are comfortable and made of natural, breathable fabrics. Plan to layer up or down as the weather changes. Try your best to avoid black, navy blue, and other dark colours as they tend to attract insects.
Tanzania Safaris looks expensive compared to other countries like Kenya and it is mainly due to park fees and Permits. Visiting the most renowned national parks in Tanzania like Serengeti and Ngorongoro you will incur extra charges which you won’t be charged in any Kenya Safari destination. Spending a single night in Serengeti comes with a $71 concession fee charge, while a single visit to Ngorongoro crater will cost you an extra $295 per car per day.
Tanzania is generally a safe destination for tourists, including safari-goers. However, it’s important to follow safety guidelines provided by your tour operator and be cautious around wildlife.
