AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
EUROPE
If you or any member of your party need to cancel your booking once Travellers Treasure Box have received your booking form and confirmation, you must contact Travellers Treasure Box as soon as possible, initially by phone when we will advise you of any cancellation charges and then you should confirm your intention in writing. Travellers Treasure Box will not treat a booking as cancelled until we receive your written confirmation. You will be charged cancellation fees as set out in the table below. Cancellation schedule will be calculated from the time of receiving the notification in writing. Cancellation policy will apply if
• Tour participant cannot adhere to the tour payment schedule set out
• If visas for any countries are not granted or
• If any tour participant is unable to travel for any reason whatsoever, including medical grounds, death, visas, jury service (please contact us for an exhaustive list).

If you are processing your visa through Travellers Treasure Box in the UK and the visa is rejected, refused, or delayed by the consulate, and we know the outcome 10 days prior to departure, then we will charge 25% of the tour cost for coach holidays and 40% for all other holidays. If the visa is rejected within 10 days of tour departure, then the cancellation will be 35% of the tour cost for coach holidays and 50% for all other holidays. (This only applies if the booking is made in the UK and if the visa has been applied through Travellers Treasure Box ). If you are ineligible to apply for Schengen visas or are unable to submit the documents as informed by Travellers Treasure Box within a period specified by us, then normal cancellation fees will apply. The visa fee and service charge are non-refundable in all circumstances.
The cancellation charges shown represent a percentage of the total holiday price, excluding insurance premium or any additional charges as these charges may need to be paid in full (e.g., visa charges, courier, postal). Should you wish to cancel a holiday and re-book this will be subject to the cancellation terms within these booking conditions. If some members of your group cancel, those cancelling are subject to cancellation charges, and we reserve the right to change the price for remaining members on the booking based on the revised number of persons travelling. All flight/rail only bookings are subject to 100% cancellation from the time it has been booked.
Travellers Treasure Box require all our customers to have adequate travel insurance. If the reason for your cancellation is covered under terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges. A revised booking confirmation/invoice will be issued with the changes made. If any member of your party is prevented from travelling, the person(s) concerned may transfer their place to someone else (introduced by you) providing we are notified not less than 21 days before departure. Where a transfer to a person of your choice can be made or is possible, then all costs and charges incurred by Travellers Treasure Box and/or incurred or imposed by any of Travellers Treasure Box suppliers as a result together with an amendment fee as shown in the table above (per person) and the balance of the holiday cost if due but not paid, must be paid before the transfer can be affected. The right to transfer is subject to a payment of an administration fee of £50 per person.
TURKEY
- If cancelled 60 full days prior to the package’s local start time, the guest will receive a full refund minus the 15% service fee .
- If cancelled within 60 full days to package’s local start time, no refund will be made.
- Fees include VAT, all services listed in the ‘’Description’’ section of the package.
- Please call us to make last minute reservations.
- If the package is cancelled because of a natural problem/disaster (eg winter flight cancellations because of snow and guests could not arrive in destination etc.), guests will receive a full refund including our own service fees, except for the fees that third parties / local places such as the yacht/hotel etc. do not refund to us.
SOUTH AFRICA & MADAGASCAR
- Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to arrival will not normally result in cancellation fees being charged. However;
- Travellers Treasure Box reserves the right to recover any costs incurred or charges received from suppliers up to the date of cancellation.
In the event of services being cancelled 45 days or less, prior to arrival, the following cancellation fees will apply.
- 45 days to 36 days before commencement of services: 25% total quoted tour price due. (Subject to 2. above)
- 35 days to 16 days before commencement of services: 50% of total quoted tour price due. (Subject to 2. above)
- 15 days or less before commencement of services : 100% of the total quoted tour price due
We recommend that you ensure that your passengers take adequate personal cancellation insurance cover before departure from home.
- Any Day Tour cancelled less than 72 hours prior to departure will incur 100% cancellation fees.
- For tours that include services of certain suppliers with more stringent policies, e.g., National Parks Board, Blue Train, Private Lodges and others, different cancellation fees will be enforceable. These will be provided when applicable.
KENYA, TANZANIA, ZIMBABWE, UGANDA, ZANZIBAR, MOROCCO
Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers are subject to Cancellation and No Show
fees if cancelled within 60 days of the arrival date:
- 60 days to 30 days prior to arrival: 30%
- 29 days to 06 days prior to arrival: 75%
- 05 days or less prior to arrival or No show: 100%
Modifications or Cancellations by You
Once a Product has been purchased, your Booking cannot be changed by you or cancelled with a refund, unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions applicable to such Product.
The standard cancellation policy allows you to request a change to and/or cancel a Bookings.
All cancellation/modification must be made in written to sales@tttbox.uk
All Change Requests shall be processed by Travellers Treasure Box subject to the availability and agreement. Travellers Treasure Box does not guarantee the success of any Change Request. If we unable to accept such Change Request, then your right to a refund (if any) shall be governed by the cancellation terms of your Booking.
If you make a Booking using a promotion code, or if you accept a discount or special-offer price during the check-out process, you may invalidate your discount or special-offer price by making a Change Request after Booking.
No refunds are available once an Experience has commenced, or in respect of any Product’s package, accommodation, meals or any other services that have started to be utilized.
Other Modifications and Cancellations
Occasionally Travellers Treasure Box may make a change to a Product after your purchase, including but not limited to the date, price, inclusions, coverage, age requirements, and/or any other Product features and/or requirements. As a result, Travellers Treasure Box reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any Product that you have purchased, at any time, for any reason. If the change proposed by us is material (for example, a change in dates and/or a significant change to the itinerary), and you are dissatisfied with the alternative that is offered, you will be entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price.
We may decide, in our sole discretion, that it is necessary or desirable for the protection of our interests, the Supplier’s interests and/or your interests, to withdraw our Services resulting in an override of the Product’s cancellation policy and the effective cancellation of a Booking. We may also determine, in our sole discretion, to arrange a refund to your part or all of the amounts charged to you. You agree that we shall have no liability for such cancellations or refunds.
