TERMS OF USE

Travellers Treasure Box website and the Products made available on this website are offered to you conditional upon your acceptance without modification of any/all the terms, conditions, and notices set forth below (collectively, the “Agreement”). By accessing or using this website in any manner, you agree to be bound by the agreement and confirm that you have read and understood its terms. Please read the agreement carefully, as it contains information concerning your legal rights and limitations on these rights, as well as a section regarding applicable law and jurisdiction of disputes. In all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted this agreement on behalf of the persons named in the booking. All our terms and conditions are written to protect the guests’ rights and our company at the same time.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS:

Terms & Conditions:

Reservations made through Travellers Treasure Box constitute full knowledge and acceptance of all terms and conditions on issue of deposit or payment received by Travellers Treasure Box towards a confirmed travel package, tour, rental or service.

Voucher:

After payment, Travellers Treasure Box will send a confirmation / voucher by email. This voucher needs to be printed and presented as proof of purchase to the service provider if needed anytime.

Correct spelling:

Tour participants are responsible for correctly spelling their names on the booking form. Names need to be written in the correct space on the form. Travellers Treasure Box is not responsible for confusions created by mistakes in spelling or personal data. Flight tickets will be arranged according to information on the booking form.

Tour participants are responsible for inserting the correct tour date and their correct birth date using the format Day/Month/Year.

Payment:

Full payment by credit or debit card is required to make a Booking, unless otherwise specified. 

 The value of your Booking may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or payment card company may convert the payment into the local currency and may charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed through the Platform, and the final amount charged to you. Travellers Treasure Box recommends that you contact your bank or card company if you have any questions concerning any applicable currency conversion or fees.

(a) Special Conditions for Cancellation

For tours that include services of certain suppliers with more stringent policies, e.g., National Parks Board, Blue Train, Private Lodges and others, different cancellation fees will be enforceable. These will be provided when applicable.

Domestic Flights alterations:

Travellers Treasure Box is not responsible in the case of cancellations, delays or changes to flights made by airline companies. However we will assist tour participants to catch the tours as soon as possible. Extra charges may be applied.

(a) Cancellations and refunds 

In the event of cancellation or failure, for any reason whatsoever, to use confirmed space, as ticketed, 25% (twenty five percent) of the applicable airfare will be forfeited. A change of reservation constitutes a cancellation. Extension of ticket validity is not permitted, save when a passenger is hospitalised due to illness or in the event of death of a member of the passenger’s immediate family.

Luggage:

(a) Turkey & Egypt

The luggage allowance is 10 kilos carry on and 8 kilos cabin for domestic flights per person. Guests with extra luggage might be subjected to pay additional fees by the airline company. If you want to leave any luggage behind and pick up after returning, we can store them free of charge.

(b) Africa & South Africa

One suitcase and one overnight bag per person is allowed. Travellers Treasure Box accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to luggage or personal property from whatsoever cause arising. Passengers are advised to take up adequate insurance cover.

Only one hand bag per person is accepted in daily tour coaches. Other restrictions may apply.

Surprise pricing from Airline:

If flight tickets become extremely expensive due to last minute bookings, religious festivals, school holidays etc., Travellers Treasure Box may need to charge the guest an extra fee but will inform the guest before doing so.

Meeting arrangements:

If any activity is missed because the guest is delayed or does not make themselves known to our staff at the meeting point, it is the guest’s responsibility to call the number shown on the voucher information sheet before making other arrangements or paying any additional monies to redress the issue (eg taxi fares).

Natural disasters:

If any activity is cancelled because of a natural problem/disaster (eg balloon flights or cruises due to weather conditions), guests will be fully refunded including service fees.

Check in/out times:

Guests are expected to comply with check-in/check out times of the hotel during their stay. Please inform us if you require an early check-in or late check out. We will make a request on your behalf but extra charges may apply.

Passports, Visas & Insurance:

When you make a Booking, you are responsible for ensuring that you meet all foreign entry requirements and that your travel documents, including passports and visas, are in order.

 For applicable passport and visa requirements, you should consult the relevant embassy or consulate for information. Such requirements may change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check for up-to-date information before making a Booking and before your departure. Travellers Treasure Box accepts no liability in connection with any person who is refused entry onto a flight or into any country, including countries such a person may just be passing through en route to their destination.

 As visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice, Travellers Treasure Box recommends that you verify health and visa requirements with the appropriate consulate prior to departure. It is also your responsibility to consult your physician for current recommendations on vaccinations before you travel internationally, and to ensure that you meet all health entry requirements and follow all medical guidance related to your trip.

Travellers Treasure Box strongly recommends that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy prior to departure to protect your Product purchase. If you cancel your trip or significantly alter travel dates, your travel insurance policy may reimburse the cost of cancellation fees and related expenses. Please review your travel insurance policy carefully for related terms and conditions.

TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT TRAVEL TO ANY DESTINATION IS ADVISABLE OR WITHOUT RISK, ANDTRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OR LOSSES THAT MAY RESULT FROM TRAVEL TO SUCH DESTINATIONS.

Tips and Taxes:

Tips to guides, drivers, hotel staff etc. are not included in package costs and are at your own discretion. Additional taxes, security charges or any other fees collected by governments, airports, airlines and other entities are not included unless specifically listed as included features.

Complaints:

In the unlikely event that you were not satisfied with your reservation, you may file a complaint within 1 month from the date of service. Please send your complaint in writing  by email and it will be investigated. Complaints received after the deadline will not be investigated and will not be eligible for a refund.

Travellers Treasure Box will be governed by and subject to the Terms & Conditions. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of Travellers Treasure Box.

Our Liability

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. THIS SECTION LIMITS TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ISSUES THAT MAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE TERMS IN THIS SECTION OR ELSEWHERE IN THESE TERMS OF USE, PLEASE CONSULT A LAWYER FOR CLARIFICATION BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICES.

 THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, SOFTWARE, PLATFORM, AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR ERRORS, INCLUDING IN RELATION TO RESERVATION AVAILABILITY AND PRICING ERRORS. TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX, ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES AND CORPORATE AFFILIATES DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF, AND DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR, ANY ERRORS OR OTHER INACCURACIES RELATING TO THE INFORMATION AND DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCTS AND OTHER SERVICES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE PRICING, AVAILABILITY, PHOTOGRAPHS, FEATURES, INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS, GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, REVIEWS AND RATINGS, ETC.). IN ADDITION, TRAVELLERS TREASURE EXPRESSLY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CORRECT ANY AVAILABILITY AND PRICING ERRORS AND/OR ON BOOKINGS MADE UNDER AN INCORRECT PRICE.

 THE TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX LIMITED COMPANY MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY OF THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, SOFTWARE, PLATFORM, PRODUCTS, AND OTHER SERVICES FOR ANY PURPOSE, AND THE INCLUSION OR OFFERING OF ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES DOES NOT CONSTITUTE ANY ENDORSEMENT OR RECOMMENDATION OF SUCH PRODUCTS OR SERVICES BY THE TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX LIMITED COMPANY. ALL SUCH INFORMATION, CONTENT, SOFTWARE, PLATFORM, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX LIMITED COMPANY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS THAT THE PLATFORM IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.  THE TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX LIMITED COMPANyY HAVE NO LIABILITY AND WILL MAKE NO REFUND IN THE EVENT OF ANY DELAY, CANCELLATION, OVERBOOKING, STRIKE, FORCE MAJEURE OR OTHER CAUSES BEYOND THEIR DIRECT CONTROL, AND THEY HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSE, OMISSIONS, DELAYS, RE-ROUTING OR ACTS OF ANY GOVERNMENT OR AUTHORITY.

 IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TRAVELLERS TREASURE BOX LIMITED COMPANY (OR ANY OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS AND AFFILIATES) BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA OR INFORMATION OR COSTS TO PROCURE SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES) ARISING OUT OF, OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH, A PRODUCT OR A BOOKING, OR YOUR ACCESS TO, DISPLAY OF OR USE OF THE SERVICES WHETHER BASED ON A THEORY OF NEGLIGENCE, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, AND EVEN IF VIATOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11.6 If any Travellers Treasure Box Limited Company is found liable for any loss or damage that arises out of or is in any way connected with your use of the Services or with a Booking or use of a Product, then the Travellers Treasure Box Limited Company liabilities will in no event exceed, in the aggregate, the greater of (a) the sum paid to Travellers Treasure Box Limited Company in respect of the Booking giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred Pound (GBP £100.00).

11.7 The limitation of liability set forth in this Section reflects the allocation of risk between the parties. The limitations specified in this Section will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these Terms of Use is found to have failed of its essential purpose. The limitations of liability provided in these Terms of Use insure to the benefit of the Travellers Treasure Box Limited Company.

Your Liability

 You agree to defend and indemnify Travellers Treasure Box and the Travellers Treasure Box Limited Company and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, suits, proceedings, investigations, losses, damages, fines, penalties, fees, expenses, costs and any other liabilities of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or related to: a. your breach of these Terms of Use or the documents referenced herein; b. your violation of any law, rule, regulation or guideline; c. your violation, infringement or misappropriation of the rights of a third party, including without limitation any rights of publicity or privacy; d. your use of the Services (including the Website); e. your Booking or use of any Product; or f. your negligence or willful misconduct.
